Condition

A blue cloth bound book with gilt lettering and decoration to front board. Blind edge decoration to front and back board. Extremities are rubbed and worn but discolouration, perhaps from sea water, has affected only the top edge of the front board, as seen to the left here. Boards are still square. Hinges have started to split but first and last pages are still fixed although binding thread has broken the pages, although loose, are still just held in place. Previous owner's signature inked over on front paste down. Pages are generally clean with a little foxing; the worst affected is the title page; which can be seen by placing cursor over the image of the front board. The fold outs, although there are some blind tears, are whole and of an even shade of cream - the discolouration seen in the composite images below is a result of the scanning process using card to hold them flat during scanning.

Weight wrapped <300 gms.
